This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy has been created with the help of the Privacy Policy Generator.
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Green Shoot Enterprises Inc., a California corporation doing business as Aurigentic.
Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.
Country refers to: California, United States.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Website.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
Website refers to Aurigentic, accessible from https://aurigentic.com.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Bee – Saved Places is a mobile application developed by Green Shoot Enterprises Inc. (doing business as Aurigentic). This section describes practices specific to Bee – Saved Places and Bee – Saved Places Pro (together, “Bee”) and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy.
Bee is designed so that your saved places, lists, notes, and content you add are stored on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. Aurigentic does not operate a login for Bee and does not receive, host, or sync your saved-place database on our servers in the current version of the app described here.
Information you enter or import (for example, place names, addresses, captions, screenshots, or photos you choose) may be personal information under applicable laws; it is processed and kept on your iPhone or iPad unless a feature described below sends data to Apple, Google, or another third party, or you export data yourself (for example, a backup file).
In the Apple App Store “App Privacy” summary, Apple uses its own definitions (including what it means for an app to “collect” data). That summary is intended to work together with this Policy.
Bee does not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs whose purpose is to track users across other companies’ apps and websites for ads, in the current version described here.
With your permission, Bee uses Apple’s location services on your device to support features such as Nearby, proximity-related reminders, and the app icon badge, depending on your settings and what you allow in iOS (When In Use and, if you enable it, Always for background behavior where applicable).
Aurigentic does not operate a location server for Bee and does not receive a separate, continuous feed of your location for our own use. Location is used on the device and through Apple’s system APIs to power these features. Apple’s privacy policy applies to Apple’s processing.
To help you find and save places, Bee may use Apple MapKit / on-device search for place search. Apple handles those requests under Apple’s terms and your settings.
When you share a link into Bee (for example from Safari or another app), Bee may fetch that webpage to help you extract place details. The operator of that website may receive technical information typical of an HTTP request.
Bee – Saved Places Pro includes features that use the Google Places API to retrieve public business information (for example, whether a business may appear open, temporarily closed, or permanently closed) when that information is available.
When you use those features, Google receives information needed to perform the lookup. That may include:
Google processes that information under Google’s Maps Platform Terms and Google’s privacy policy. Aurigentic does not control Google’s servers and does not receive a copy of those requests into a separate Aurigentic database for the purposes described in this section.
These Pro features are used only in connection with saving and managing places in the app (for example, when you use flows that check business status with Google), not for advertising profiling by Aurigentic.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple collects the information it needs to complete purchases according to Apple’s terms. The app reads subscription status on your device so Pro features can unlock.
If you add photos, screenshots, or shared content, those items are processed on your device to support features such as saving a place or reading text from an image locally where applicable. Aurigentic does not upload your photo library to our servers in the current version described here.
Bee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in a way that is inconsistent with applicable law.
We may update Bee over time. If we introduce material new data practices (for example, optional account sync or new third-party services), we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide notice or obtain consent in accordance with applicable law and Apple App Store requirements.
This Bee–specific section supplements the broader Aurigentic Privacy Policy and applies only to the Bee – Saved Places and Bee – Saved Places Pro iOS applications.
