Help, FAQs, and contact information for Bee – Saved Places and Bee – Saved Places Pro.
Bee – Saved Places is an iOS app by Aurigentic that helps you remember and revisit the places that matter to you. You can save locations, see when you’re nearby, and quickly open navigation when you’re ready to go.
Bee – Saved Places Pro adds additional convenience features, including checking the status of certain businesses (for example, whether they are temporarily or permanently closed) using public business information.
When you are close to one of your saved places, Bee – Saved Places can show it in a “Nearby” list and may update the app icon badge to indicate that you have nearby locations.
Note: Location is processed only on your device and is not transmitted to Aurigentic or stored externally.
From a saved place, you can choose to open navigation in your preferred maps app (such as Apple Maps). In Bee – Saved Places Pro, when you open navigation, the app may also check public business information (like whether a place is temporarily or permanently closed) using the Google Places API.
No. Bee – Saved Places uses your device’s location locally to determine whether you are near one of your saved places. This information is not transmitted to Aurigentic, not stored externally, and not shared with third parties.
The current version of Bee – Saved Places does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal data. The app does not request your name, email address, phone number, or other identifying information.
Bee – Saved Places Pro includes an optional feature that uses the Google Places API to retrieve public business information, such as whether a location is temporarily or permanently closed, when you choose to open navigation to that place.
Bee – Saved Places Pro sends only the business’s place ID or address to Google. It does not send your personal data, your device location, or any user identifiers. Aurigentic does not receive or store any data from these requests.
Bee – Saved Places uses your location to determine when you are near one of your saved places so it can update the “Nearby” list and app icon badge. Location is used only for this on-device functionality and is not transmitted to Aurigentic.
Business status information (such as “temporarily closed” or “permanently closed”) comes from the Google Places API and may occasionally be out of date or inaccurate. If something looks incorrect, you can usually suggest an edit directly in Google Maps.
If issues persist, you can try deleting and reinstalling Bee – Saved Places. Note: Depending on your configuration, locally stored data (including saved places) may be removed when you delete the app.
